About the speaker:
Key characteristics: result driven, energetic, adapter, connector, relationship focused. As investment manager for the Dutch development bank FMO he successfully structured and concluded numerous equity, debt & mezzanine transactions. Before that he worked at the United Nations Environment Program at the chemicals and pesticide division. Alwin studied biology (MSc) & European Environmental Management (MEM) and is able to assess sustainable feasibility and is a true “green business” believer. Eco-systems performance is in his view a mirror and tutor for true sustainable entrepreneurship, i.e. “nature is neither tender nor stable and always on the move”. In 2020 he co-founded his own company SeaweedTech that recently merged with the Dutch Seaweed Group in the Netherlands.
