Moreover there are very convenient indirect flights departing from any major city. Most of the flights go through Copenhagen which serves as a major hub for international travelers heading to the Faroe Islands. The flight from Copenhagen to the Faroe Islands takes approximately two hours, providing a quick and efficient way to reach this enchanting destination.
- What do I need to consider when booking flights?
To secure the best fares and ensure availability, it's advisable to book your flights well in advance, especially as the conference is in the summer season. Early booking also gives you more options and flexibility. We advise to book your flights until February 2024.
- Is it easy to find an accommodation?
There are various accommodation options ranging from hotels and guesthouses to bed and breakfasts and campsites. However, it's recommended to book in advance due to the summer season. If you are a citizen of a Schengen Area country, you can visit the Faroe Islands without a visa. Citizens of other countries should check visa requirements with the relevant authorities, typically the Danish embassy or consulate. More information here.

- When will the site visit to Ocean Rainforest take place?
The exclusive site visit will take place on June 18, 2024. It is a full-day trip.
- Will there apply any costs for the site visit?
No, there will not apply costs for the site visit. The site visit is included in the conference registration. If you would like to participate in the site visit, please register for the conference. When filling out the registration form, you will be asked if you would like to register for the site visit.
