About the speaker: 

Ole Jacob Broch is working as a Senior Scientist at SINTEF Ocean in Trondheim, Norway. Since 2008 he has been involved in a number of national and international research projects on seaweed cultivation. His specialty is coupled biophysical ocean modelling with an emphasis on the interactions between various human activities, such as seaweed aquaculture, and the marine environment.
