Adrien is the founder of Albatros Advisory, an advisory boutique specialised in the ocean sustainability space. After founding and managing the Seaweeed for Europe coalition in 2020, he now works with the EU4Algae platform of the European Commission and advises the Global Seaweed Coalition. Adrien also works with investment funds specialised in the sustainable blue economy and is a mentor is several blue start up accelerators.

How to get funding for European seaweed companies to help them develop faster and sustainably? It is not that simple to answer this question. This presentation will cast light on the different types of funding relevant and available depending on the profile and nature of the seaweed projects, illustrated by concrete examples of investment funds, vehicles and public funding adapted to different cases.
