About the speaker:
Ana Borrero (PhD in Marine Science and technology) She has over 10 years of experience on characterization of aquatic systems for monitoring purposes related to marine pollution and ocean acidification. She joined SES in 2020 to assist with seedling production and responsible for the R&D at sea and environmental monitoring. She is now responsible for producing seedlings, both for deployment at the company's sea farm and for external customers. She is also responsible for R&D related to seedling production and for continuously refining and improving the company’s seeding protocols.

Since 2009 SES has played an important role in developing the farming industry in Norway. SES has been involved in research activities as a partner in breeding programs (B4K2F, NMBU) and invests internal resources to improve the yield at sea.
