About the speaker: 

Chief Scientific Officer at Algama (Paris). Holds a Master's degree (DEA) in Marine Biology, a Ph.D. in Applied Molecular Biology and a Habilitation to Direct Research (HDR) from the University of Nantes. Previously, 5 years Managing Director at the Marine Biotechnology Company GREENSEA. Formerly Director of the Physiology and Biotechnology of Algae Laboratory, and finally Director of the Biotechnology and Marine Resources unit at IFREMER (France). Co-founder of Algenics and IASO-Biotech. Expert advisor to the National Research Agency, the European Commission, and several international universities. Author of eighty peer-reviewed publications and holder of ten patents. Vice President of the European Algae Biomass Association (250 members).
