Port of Scheveningen and The Hague, the location for the 6th international seaweed conference Seagriculture


 

The port of Scheveningen, closely linked to the Dutch government city of The Hague, is known to many for Vlaggetjesdag, de Scheveningse Pier and hopefully in the future also for seaweed. 7 and 8 November next, the international renowned seaweed conference Seagriculture will be held here for a mutual acquaintance of Dutch seaweed initiatives and the international seaweed sector.

This two-day conference combines a beautiful and varied program with ample opportunities for nes connections, such as: plenary sessions, interactive poster sessions, networking lunches, a dinner in the port of Scheveningen, a product market and an excursion to the trial farm Scheveningen of the North Sea Farm Foundation to witness the local seaweed cultivation.
